Hen parties with a higher price

Whilst European cities offer some fantastic hen party fun, be warned that if things turn nasty you could find yourselves with a hefty charge.

British Embassies based in European cities are getting increasingly fed-up with the embarrassment, and cost, of helping drunken revellers that are to be found beating down the doors in the middle of the night.

The Brit abroad does not have a very good reputation at the best of times, but for European cities, such as Prague and Amsterdam, the message in increasingly that massive groups who fly over for the sole purpose of getting drunk are not welcome.

It seems that increasingly British embassies hold the same view with the number of lost, drunk, penniless partiers expecting help reaching an all-time high. Moves are being made to force revellers to pay for assistance if their predicament arose as a direct result of being too drunk to know better.

So to keep yourself safe abroad, and avoid hefty fines, make sure that everybody in your group knows how to get back to your hotel, familarise yourself with local laws and try to stay together at all times. And the ultimate piece of advice? Try not to get so drunk that you don''t know what you are doing and where you are, it really won't be pretty in the morning.
